A 13-year old small-town soccer prodigy from Uruguay gets the chance of his life to follow his dreams and get his humble family out of poverty. Propelled into youth pro soccer, he is soon blinded by life in the fast track and gets into collision course with his heart-of-gold janitor dad. It takes an accident to bring him down to earth and recognize what is really important in life. Based on the book "Mi Mundial" a coming-of-age Latin American best-seller by former Uruguayan soccer player, Daniel Baldi.

아쿠아리움에서 수중 공연 일을 하던 전 싱크로나이즈드 국가대표 영주는 제주도 해녀들의 싱크로나이즈드 코치를 제안 받고 제주도로 향한다. 그러나 해녀 대표 옥자는 행사에는 무관심하고, 조용한 시골 마을을 혼란스럽게 하는 영주가 영 못마땅하다. 영주는 자신을 무시하는 옥자에게 자존심을 건 바다 잠수 대결을 신청하게 되고, 이기는 쪽이 원하는 것을 들어주기로 한다.

Yeongju is fired from the aquarium due to being repeatedly drunk during performances. Her friend Ga-yeon hears of a position on Jeju island for a synchronized swimming coach, and sends Yeongju there. She teaches synchronized swimming to the female divers.
